LOVES PARK - Belvidere North beat city rivals Belvidere in the cross-town matchup at Road Ranger Stadium. The game was really tight until the fifth inning when North stepped out in front of the Bucs and took control of the game. Despite the game being scoreless until the fifth, North took the win over their rivals by a 9-0 margin. The game started off as a defensive standoff.
