BELVIDERE - After two blowout wins on consecutive days, the Belvidere North Lady Thunder tasted defeat when they faced DeKalb High School and lost by a final of 6-0.
On a windy day, North had a hard time overcoming an amazing performance from the mound by DeKalb's pitcher who was absolutely on fire. With North being handled so efficiently by DeKalb's defense, the Thunder only had a few chances to make their mark on the game, but their efforts fell short...
